Dr. Mike Ser, the owner of Gorgeous Rugs, finished his Ph.D. at the University of Saskatchewan and expanded his family business right here in Edmonton. Dr. Ser has long been known as an expert in antique and semi-antique hand-made rugs. He travels to every city and village throughout Iran to meet personally with Persian rug weavers so that he can hand-pick among the best. His efforts have led to our showroom containing some of the highest-quality and unique rugs to suit any taste and style. As such, we have become well-known for our large selection of Persian rugs and have the largest inventory of silk rugs in Western Canada. We are passionate about our rug business and strongly believe that Persian rugs can make any home stand out, as well as make any room warm and inviting.
